The circus is, along with the ballet and other projects, presented in the world wide web: Time plays a supporting role in this production. However, on this occasion, it does not appear in the form of movement. Instead, it is dramatically restrained within the static pictures. The unfamiliar realm of this picture-world results from the intricate cooperation between space and time. The Poetic Body The poetic body breaks away from the conventional representation of matter. In this way, the human figure looses its ability to be representational. When an audible meeting is requested, the visitor is only allowed a white icon on his blank screen. Once the visitor clicks on the icon, a voice can be heard reciting: "We will probably never see one another." The stage is barely displayed, the dialogue muffled. This one-sided meeting expresses the meaning of communication in the context of the global village - namely contact with members of a burgeoning community with which we will probably never come into personal contact.
